We were delighted to be offered the opportunity to get involved in a recent charity auction for the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity.
The charity raises money to help fund Royal Brompton Hospital in London and Harefield Hospital in Middlesex. These two hospitals are known throughout the world for their expertise in the field of heart and lung disease.
We were asked to donate items for their charity auction, and two of our seating manufacturers, Orangebox and Vector were generous enough to each donate a chair to this worthwhile cause. Procol’s Managing Director Nick Denning delivered the chairs to the hospital auction in person. He had a great time taking part in the auction and trying his hand at bidding on – and winning – some of the items!
The charity auction was a great success, raising over £10,000 towards helping to treat and beat heart and lung disease. Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity holds a number of events throughout the year to help raise money for this vital cause.
